SuperM, also known as The Avengers of KPOP, is a seven-member boy group from SM Entertainment. Made up of members from the groups SHINee, EXO, NCT, and WayV, SuperM holds some of the most powerful performers SM has to offer. In October of last year, SuperM debuted with the song and mini-album Jopping. Selling over 168,000 albums in the first week of sales alone, they became the first KPOP group to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
We know that SuperM brings a lot to the table, and sometimes stanning new groups can be overwhelming. That’s why we’re here: to give you five good reasons to stan SuperM.
Reason #1: Their god-tier vocals
Pulling from groups with some of the top vocalists in the industry, it’s no wonder that SuperM’s vocals are as powerful as they are. EXO’s Baekhyun, SHINee’s Taemin, and WayV’s Ten make up their main vocal line, and they prove to us again and again why they deserve to be known as the Avengers of KPOP.
Reason #2: Their powerful dance line
Continuing with the theme of the Avengers of KPOP, SM goes on to add some of the best dancers in KPOP’s history. SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Kai, NCT’s Taeyong and Mark, and WayV’s Ten make up SuperM’s diverse dance line, continuously showing us their unmatched and raw talent.
Reason #3: Their impeccable rap line
With SuperM’s performance and vocal lines being as powerful and dynamic as they are, it’s no surprise that their rap line would be top-tier as well. The rappers of SuperM are EXO’s Kai, NCT’s Taeyong and Mark, and WayV’s Ten and Lucas. Having spent their years of training and debut honing their skill, SuperM allows the members to show off everything they’re capable of.
Reason #4: The love they have for their fans
SuperM proves time and time again that they love their supporters. Whether it be the fans of their respective groups or the fans of SuperM, the members are constantly doing everything they can to make sure their fans know they are loved.
Baekhyun is so precious ❤️ he put his hand forward like a baby to take all the hearts fans were giving him and then he made hearts with fans too 🤧 he has so much love inside him for his erishttps://t.co/bDlVM44QVm

I’m gonna cry. I want Taemin and Shawols’ song, I really really want it! It will be the most beautiful song in the world, because there’s no greater and warmer love between artist and his fans than SHINee and SHINee World.#TAEMIN #SHINee #Shawols https://t.co/SXXdq02Jpc

Reason #5: The power and skill behind their live performances
Being from senior groups, SuperM brings something unheard of to the table. With spot-on choreographed synchronization, perfectly rehearsed vocals, and impeccably delivered raps, it’s painfully obvious that SuperM knows what they’re doing. Taemin debuted as SHINee’s maknae almost twelve years ago, making him the most weathered performer of SuperM. Taemin is followed by Baekhyun and Kai, who debuted almost eight years ago as members of the globally successful group EXO. NCT’s Taeyong and Mark ring in at third, having debuted nearly four years ago. While WayV’s Ten also debuted with NCT U four years ago, these days he predominantly promotes with WayV, who debuted in 2019. Lucas’s debut in NCT U came in 2018, where he was officially added to the NCT 2018 lineup. However, like Ten, Lucas now mostly promotes with WayV. Coming from groups with such seasoned and powerful performers, it’s no wonder SuperM is recognized as the Avengers of KPOP.
