With a new vocalist and bassist in their line-up, MAKEOUT are back with a BANG with their infectiously powerful track ‘Home.’
Kyle Dee joins as the new frontman, alongside Aj Khah as the band’s new bassist, with founding members Tyler Young on lead guitar, and Scott Eckel on the drums. This new lineup is something we’re living for, and the sheer passion that is thrown into ‘Home’ has us eagerly anticipating the upcoming EP!
“’Home’ is about being completely drained from giving your all to a dead-end relationship. It’s about wanting to build a life with somebody and being fed false promises of a picture-perfect future.” Says Kyle Dee. And while the tone of the lyrics may be heavy, the backing instrumental paired with the power and emotions in Kyle’s vocals deliver an energy to the song that when you sing along, feels cathartic. So if you relate to the words, sing along and let the weight of the world fall off your shoulders! Even if you’re lucky enough to not relate, we guarantee you’ll be singing along anyway!
‘Home’ was produced by Matt Holmes and Travis Barker, who co-wrote the song with the band and Jayden Seeley of With Confidence.
