Over the weekend, we received a very special treat from the beautifully talented Leona Lewis, and we can’t stop buzzing about it!
Live from her home garden in LA, the multi-platinum global superstar shared with us her new video for her rendition of ‘Ave Maria,’ directed by her husband, Dennis Jauch. Set to the twilight sky with lights twinkling above is a roaring fire and Leona’s stunning vocals with her impressive range; it truly was a performance that was both touching and unforgettable!
She explained on her Twitter how she hoped her performance of ‘Ave Maria’ brings the much-needed calm after the difficult year we all experienced. For us, it was exactly what we needed to boost our spirits, and we appreciated this special moment brought to us by the forever gorgeous Leona Lewis!
Her performance of ‘Ave Maria’ also marked the first time Leona performed classically captured on film! As the powerhouse singer that she is, it is no surprise she was trained classically at a young age! We’re hoping we get more classical pieces from her if we get another Christmas album! If you loved the performance as much as we did, you’ll be happy to know that ‘Ave Maria’ appears on her Christmas album, Christmas, With Love!
