These Remixes Took Songs We Already Loved To All New Heights

Remixes take songs and just completely elevate them. When they’re done right- that is! These remixes were done so well that they have made the songs just as good as the original or even made the songs that much better. Remixes can take on many forms- you can remix a song by adding a new feature or by having someone come in and mix the track differently and change the overall sound. It’s an art form all on its own.

Surf Mesa And Madison Beer – ‘Carried Away’ (Tchami Remix)

This techno remix of a song we already loved so much perfectly fits. We can see this playing at all the rave festivals once we are back in that groove. This remix of ‘Carried Away’ has the potential to be a huge track. Coming off the buzz of Madison Beer‘s debut album Life Support, we can only hope people latch onto this version as we have.

Megan Thee Stallion Feat. Beyoncé – ‘Savage’

You add Beyoncé onto a remix and you are sure to get a hit. ‘Savage’ was already a smash, and this remix for sure elevated that success. It earned both Megan and Beyoncé Grammy nominations- and wins! We have this track on all party playlists and overplay it, and we aren’t apologizing. And those little okay’s in the background are such ear candy.

Carly Rae Jepsen – ‘Your Type’ (Young Bombs Remix)

Carly Rae Jepsen makes perfect pop music that much is clear, however, when you listen to this remix, you will see that there’s an even higher level of pop music that can be reached. It’s unlike any other remix we’ve heard and elevated an already incredible song to this place few other artists could even shoot for.

Taylor Swift Feat. Kendrick Lamar – ‘Bad Blood’

This is arguably one of the biggest songs of our girl Taylor Swift’s career. It gathered so much mainstream success after the addition of Kendrick Lamar and ‘Bad Blood’ becoming a single. The music video proved to be one of the all-time best Taylor Swift videos, and the views seem to confirm that. We have Kendrick’s verse memorized word for word- such a banger.

Lorde Feat. Khalid, SZA, And Post Malone – ‘Homemade Dynamite’

The ultimate night out song! It instantly makes you want to move around a dance floor with friends and, preferably, shots. This was the perfect combination of artists, honestly, like a dream lineup. We are pretty sure Lorde hacked our Spotify and made this remix specifically to please us!

BTS – ‘Dynamite’ (Poolside Remix)

We all already know that ‘Dynamite’ is the ultimate summer song. So when we got a Poolside remix? We knew that was about to be even more true. We are 100% sure anyone who hears this track will become an instant fan. Even those that aren’t usually into the group can find a song they’ll love in this remix. It just feels like sunshine.

Miley Cyrus – ‘Mother’s Daughter’ (R3HAB Remix)

We have loved the original track ever since its release, but this remix just made it even more of an anthem. R3HAB was the perfect match for this track- it’s flawless. It’s a lot of fun, and we can see it being played everywhere this summer. We know we’re already blaring it.

SAINt JHN – ‘Roses’ (Imanbek Remix)

If you’ve been on TikTok in the last year, we know you’ve heard this track a million times. This remix just hits- it makes the song sound like it has reached its final form. It’s destined to be played over the loudest speakers at EDC, and we are longing for the day that can happen.

Zara Larsson – ‘Ruin My Life’ (Steve James Remix)

‘Ruin My Life’ is an all-time favorite song for us. And this remix lived up to the bar we were setting. If possible, this remix made the track even more fun and full of all the serotonin we could ever need. We are looking forward to this track being the soundtrack to all summer road trips.

Shawn Mendes – ‘Lost In Japan’ (Zedd Remix)

First off, we just have to say that yellow is Shawn’s color. This song is just a good time- both the remix and the normal version. We vibe to this song constantly, and we do indeed want to get ‘Lost In Japan,’ especially with Shawn Mendes.
