Holly Humberstone Rocked Her Sold Out Headline Show In London

New pop artist Holly Humberstone wowed the audience at her sold-out headline show in Shepherd’s Bush O2 Empire in London last night. The packed-out room was enthralled, captured by her setlist, including her hits ‘Scarlett,’ ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin,’ and ‘Falling Asleep At The Wheel.’

Her opening act Dora Jar warmed up the audience with a cozy set featuring a lamp and a pot of peppermint tea. She sang her acoustic songs, including her funky hit ‘Scab Song‘ (which she explained is literally about a scab on her knee!).

Holly made an entrance with dark, dramatic lighting and began with her hit ‘Vanilla,’ which was released last year. Since she rose to fame during the global lockdown in 2020, Holly admitted that she was nervous doing live shows. However, that didn’t stop her from singing her heart out to her adoring fans.

Is There New Music In The Pipeline for Holly?

She hinted at some new music being released soon and gave us a treat as she sang ‘Lonely in London’ for the crowd. The room was absolutely silent as she gave us her all in her piano ballad, which she confessed, she’d never sang live for an audience before. Of course, she smashed it, complete with some vocal cracks and runs that sent shivers down our spines.

Overall, Holly gave us everything we hoped for, from her electric guitar, to her thrifted outfit and haunting vocals. She’s definitely one to watch out for!
