Ever heard of PLANET? No? Well, you’re in for a treat because we had front row access to their headline show in London, the first date of their U.K. tour Information Overload to promote their latest album. So, let’s just jump into it then!
Human Interest Really Are ‘Cool Cats’
Opening up for PLANET was British Indie band Human Interest, who gave us an exciting set including their song ‘Cool Cat’- a slow, bassy song which we have to say we’re kind of obsessed with! Armed with bass, electric guitar, drum kit, and a tambourine, they treated us to their hit ‘Spiced Apple,’ which frontman Harry explained was about a stalker. With lyrics like “it’s not creepy, it’s love,” we soon realized the song was from the stalker’s perspective- definitely not creepy at all!

A Real ‘Information Overload’
PLANET arrived, met with cheers and whistles from the crowd. Lead vocalist Matty told the crowd that this show was three years in the making and how excited they were to perform their most recent album live. There was head-banging, spilled drinks, and a lot of screaming! We were treated to songs such as ‘Pulse,’ ‘Hard To Come By,’ and ‘You, Just A Little More’ from their debut album Information Overload. They were surprised when fans from halfway around the world sang the lyrics back to them, cheering when asked if they ‘digged’ that song.

Although the tour was long-awaited, PLANET delivered everything and more for their eager fans, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next.
