Listen, we love single droplets as much as the next person, but we will always geek out over a solid EP/Album. From Kid Cudi finally putting his mixtape on streaming services to the new Christina Perri record, we’ve got quite the lineup to share with y’all!
Kira Kosarin – Something New
Something New is a five-track project that completely narrates Kira’s early twenties, an audio diary, if you will. There’s love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, all things that are so prevalent in our young adult lives. Something New is bright at times, moody at times, and such a solid representation of pop music.
Our favorite track: ‘mood ring’ – such an honest look into what it’s like to know someone inside and out.

Gavin Haley – I hate you, Don’t Leave Me
2020-2021 was such a taxing time for all of us, and for Gavin Haley, writing i hate you, Don’t Leave Me is what saw him through this time. With just one listen through this thirteen-track record, it’s clear how vulnerable Gavin Haley allowed himself to be with his audience. As far as debut albums go, i hate you, Don’t Leave Me sets the bar real high.
Our favorite track: ‘Heroes’ – this track is all about the realization that even your ‘Heroes’ are going through these hardships that feel so singular when you’re going through it.

O.A.R – The Arcade
O.A.R is one of the most genre-defying bands we can think of. It’s impossible to box them in. What we’re getting a lot of on The Arcade is an indie-rock, at times sun-soaked ten tracks. O.A.R is hitting the road this summer, and we simply have to catch a show to hear The Arcade performed live.
Our favorite track: ‘Life in the Big City,’ is perfect as we spend the last month and a half of summer.

Asher Monroe – Windows of Time
Man, what a voice! Asher Monroe has completely blown us away with his talent here on Windows of Time. Asher Monroe created this album of eight tracks that both acted as a source of inspiration for him and now can do the same for all of us.
Our favorite track: ‘Season In The Sun,’ which is such a sun-soaked, but not overly upbeat, the perfect mixture.

Christina Perri – a lighter shade of blue
After eight years without a Christina Perri album, a lighter shade of blue is finally hear. When you spend so long working on a project, it’s going to have every ounce of yourself poured into the songs. Christina Perri has a vulnerability that’s been clear since her earliest projects, that draws the listener in and makes us feel so close to her as an artist. a lighter shade of blue is, in our opinion, a triumphant return.
Our favorite track: ‘time of our lives,’ which is a complete celebration of the good old days. When everything was simple, and love came from the most innocent of places, this track is such a beautiful love letter to those times.

Kid Cudi – A Kid Named Cudi
It has finally happened! After fourteen (!!) years, Kid Cudi has blessed us with A Kid Named Cudi, and we do not apologize for how much we’ve already streamed the project. Kid Cudi is a true visionary, and this mixtape proves that’s a career-spanning statement.
Our favorite track: ‘Cleveland Is The Reason’ is one of the best representations of Kid Cudi as an early artist, in our humble opinion.

Mabel – About Last Night
Mabel is going to be one of the biggest names in music within the year. Quote us on that! After hearing the entirety of the pop masterpiece that is About Last Night, we couldn’t be more sure of a stat in the making.
Our favorite track: It keeps changing but ‘Crying on the Dance Floor’ is on a constant repeat!
