Bayside Feel Just Like Home To Us, And The New The Red EP Is No Exception

Bayside has done it again with the release of their newest EP, The Red EP. This EP is a three-song masterpiece that encompasses how Bayside has mastered their craft over the last two decades together. That’s right, two decades. The band celebrated that huge milestone earlier this year with their 21 Years of Really Bad Luck tour. The Red EP is not only another beautiful addition to their discography but just the treat we needed to finish the year in proper “pop-punk-finger-pointing while scream-singing” style!

With The Red EP, we get to see Bayside paying homage to bands that have helped inspire them along their careers. A combination of hard-hitting melodies and that classic Bayside pop-punk style is actually the exact thing we put on your Christmas wishlist. It was super kind of them to gift it to us early, though! And ‘Good Advice’ is the exact kind of song we wanted to have on repeat for the next three months!

How About A Tour?? Anyone??

In addition to dropping a banging EP, Bayside also announced their Just Like Home Tour this winter! This tour is taking the band back to smaller venues as a way of paying homage to their local scene and even includes fellow New York bands I Am The Avalanche and Koyo as openers. You can look here to find that perfect show date that has your name written all over it!

What’s your current favorite lyric off of The Red EP? Ours has to be, “Someday you’ll die but for now enjoy the ride, and I’ll see you when I see you on the other side.” Let us know your pick in the comments below!
