XG’s Hinata Takes Us On A ‘Ride’ With Newest Cover

XG Hinata

As soon as XG debuted, they hit the ground running and haven’t slowed down since then. And as we all know, the group has amazing vocals, so we don’t blame them when they want to show them. XG started a series on their YouTube channel titled Vocal Performance where each member gets their time to shine while covering other artists’ tracks. The newest addition is Hinata, who last week covered ‘RIDE’ by SOLE (Feat. Thama).

‘RIDE’

The original song is so good, and the cover is on par! Okay, so first off, ‘RIDE’ really suits Hinata’s voice really well and makes us want to see XG make bedroom pop-sounding tracks. Second, the way she sings the line “Maybe, I’m alone again” so softly sounds so beautiful and gives us chills. Our other favorite delivery has to be, “But you wanna vibe with me now,” specifically the way her vocals go higher with the word “vibe!” Y’all, after this cover, we really can’t wait for some Hinata singing moments in upcoming tracks.

We also don’t want to let you go before talking about how chill and peaceful the accompanying video is; it can really bring you to sweet bliss. It’s also aesthetically pleasing.

Vocal Performances

As we mentioned, XG has made their covers into a series on YouTube. And besides the one we talked about above, we have covers of songs like ‘Peaches Remix’ by Justin Bieber feat. Daniel Caesar, ‘Nobody Love’ by Tori Kelly, and ‘Dear Name’ by IU. All are so good in their own way, making us so excited to see more covers from the rest of the group, which hopefully we are getting soon! Be sure to check them all out here!
