Ruel wanted to create a track that makes his fans look at the bright side of a hard breakup, while also making them feel comforted that they’re leaving that person that has made them unhappy. ‘SOMEONE ELSE’S PROBLEM’ starts with a light guitar and the only lyrics that talk about the hardships of being alone. The song moves forward by adding an uplifting beat that confirms we’ve made a good choice by moving on.
We’re also in love with how Ruel creates his visual projects! The cover art and the lyric video for ‘SOMEONE ELSE’S PROBLEM’ feature boxes, as if he’s literally “moving out” from that relationship, fitting the song perfectly!
Ruel has been performing in sold-out pop-up shows across Europe. To conclude the year, he will be performing in Asia by headlining River Fest in Thailand on November 13th and GudFest in Jakarta on November 19th!
