SM Entertainment’s super girl group is back again! GOT The Beat made their world debut last year on SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA, and rocked the world with their impressive teamwork as all the members come from different groups. Girls Generation’s Hyoyeon and Taeyeon, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy, Aespa’s Winter and Karina, and Soloist, Boa, combined their forces to bring us an avengers style girl super group to bring fans iconic music and performances. Now they’re set to release their debut EP Stamp On It on January 16, and here’s what we know about it.
We’ve already gotten a taste of what GOT The Beat is cooking up for their mini-album. They unleashed their first comeback on the same stage where they made their debut, 2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE@KWANGYA. GOT The Beat performed ‘Stamp On It,’ which we’ve learned, has a catchy pre-chorus, spunky vocals, and of course, an epic dance break. This fast-tempo pop/r&b track captures each member’s talents perfectly, showing us why they’re in such a supergroup. ‘Stamp On It’ only makes us more excited for the other songs we may receive in the EP.
Along with a powerhouse performance, GOT The Beat has unveiled their magazine cover-worthy concept photos. The women paired with each other to serve early 2000s pop-punk princess vibes. Their knee-high boots and designer clothing served elegance with a side of grunge. With outfits like these, we know they’re ready to tear the stage down once again.
We’re expecting more concept photos in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait! What are you looking forward to the most? What do you think the rest of the EP will sound like? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
