News just dropped that J-Hope is releasing his own documentary, and this announcement was definitely a surprise to us all! Here is everything we know about J-Hope IN THE BOX.
Who?
BTS has released several documentaries about their journies, such as Burn The Stage: The Movie, Love Yourself in Seoul, Bring The Soul, Break The Silence, and soon BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, which will stream exclusively on Disney+. However, it is now J-Hope’s turn to give us an inside look at his experiences! It is not very often that you see a K-Pop idol having their own documentary special, so we are certainly looking forward to watching J-Hope IN THE BOX.
What?
J-Hope IN THE BOX follows the international music sensation every step of the way as he works to release his first-ever solo album Jack In The Box. Over the course of the documentary, viewers will be given a never-before-seen look at the creative challenges faced during the album’s preparation process, as well as front-row seats to J-Hope’s 2022 Lollapalooza performance and the album’s listening party.

Essentially, it will feel as if we were with J-Hope throughout his entire process of creating Jack In The Box, and we are grateful for the opportunity!🥺

J-Hope IN THE BOX will be available for streaming on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 5 PM KST. Just in time for Hobiuary!🥳

You can watch J-Hope’s documentary special on Disney+ or Weverse. Weverse pre-orders will be available starting Friday, February 10.
Why?
J-Hope worked very hard on his first solo album, so it seems that he wants to give fans an exclusive look at his creative process and the journey he went on to create Jack In The Box. We believe that we will get to know a different side of J-Hope through this documentary and are really looking forward to watching it! Hopefully, ARMY will gain a deeper appreciation for Jack In The Box after watching J-Hope IN THE BOX. Watch party, anyone?🍿
