Miley Cyrus has done anything but fall off our radars here at The Honey POP! in the last decade or so. We’ve literally been nonstop scouring the Internet for any and all information we can find about the new record. Thankfully though, Miley has done a fantastic job of ensuring we’re fed and full come release day! So it looks like we really have started our Endless Summer Vacation after all!
There’s a promise for so much more to come once the album is entirely ours, but Miley has given us the demo of ‘Flowers‘ until then! ‘Flowers’ had a lot of different stages of development and took the time it needed to blossom into the baddie anthem we know and blast today! Getting to hear the first vision of this track has only made us love Miley’s mind and this track more! Whether the switch from this heartachingly beautiful piano ballad version of ‘Flowers’ to its glory today was inspired by one of Miley’s friends encouraging her or not, we love every form this track takes!
Now one thing about Miley we always talk about here (aside from her style, voice, acting skills, humor, glow, etc.) is her live performance magic. We’ve been begging for a tour for, well, years! Miley may not be at the point of announcing a world tour, but she did announce the next best thing! Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) was officially announced by Miley and Disney+!
This intimate performance is not only of her entire new album but shows Miley in a comfortable and intimate setting. The happiness in her soul shines through in every promo photo or clip. It’s as if you can feel her excitement and joy about the project. Personally, we can’t wait to see her performance of ‘Flowers’ and watch her live her best life. Whether her glow is from ‘Flowers’ spending 6 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart or from knowing she’s dropping a fire album, we love to see it.
