Sticking with the theme, ‘FUMD’ opens softly with sounds resembling a music box that would lull you to sleep. Peacefully and ethereal, Amelia leads us in with a somber tale of a time when sleep came easy; she speaks of a time before meeting the person who consumes your every thought and dream, driving you mad. Then, in the blink of an eye, it turns into a nightmare!
‘FUMD’
In this cryptically cool music video, we’re greeted by serene clips from the beach before moving swiftly to Amelia in a dingy motel room bed. The vintage VHS effect gives it a hauntingly raw vibe that captivates you from the very beginning, while lashing lights and quick, fuzzy transitions continue to keep us hypnotized until the end. Reminiscent of a dark thriller, Amelia and jxdn have delivered us a gritty punk rock masterpiece!
