Boy, oh boy! We got to see the incredible Sabrina Carpenter on her emails i can’t send tour and we had the absolute best time! The night was immaculate and we couldn’t be happier that we got to see Sabrina live and in person for this iconic tour.
We Went ‘Borderline Insane’ For spill tab
spill tab opened for Sabrina and honestly, they were the perfect opener. They did an amazing job of getting the crowd hyped and we bet a lot of people left that show becoming fans of theirs.
Claire Chicha really knows how to command the stage and make the audience feel that they are on stage with her. And the interaction between her and her guitarist, Caleb Buchanan, was what we love to see in a live band. The way they fed off of each other’s energy was lovely to see. If you haven’t gotten the chance to see them in action, please head out to a show. You aren’t going to regret it!
Our personal favorite songs from the setlist: ‘CRÈME BRÛLÉ!,’ “Calvaire,’ and ‘Cotton Candy.’
We got The ‘Tornado Warnings’ From Sabrina
Alright, first we’ve got to talk about the song Sabrina picked before she came on stage. The fact that she chose the 10-minute version of Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ gives us absolute life. Sabrina is really that girl.
Coming out on stage to the balcony structure, she opened the show with the tour’s namesake, ’emails i can’t send.’ She chose to sing it in more of a ballad style with just her voice and her keyboard. It was an absolute stunning rendition of one of our favorite songs that came out last year. The stage design and production of the set was one of the best we’ve seen in a while for this size of a tour. There were different elements in each part of her set that really showcase Sabrina’s vibe. We love hearts and all things girly, so we were obsessed!
Not only is the stage design incredible, but Sabrina took the time to chat with one of the fans in the front few rows and had them tell the story of a recent heartbreak. After hearing about an architect who did not treat them right, Sabrina brought them some candy and said “here, have some candy. F*ck the architect.” And immediately went into a cover of Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain.’ We will be quoting that for the rest of our lives. Thanks, Sabrina!
All in all, the emails i can’t send tour was one we were glad to not miss. Sabrina and spill tab absolutely killed their sets and we left feeling so happy. If you haven’t made it to the show or just want to look at some photos, check out our gallery below!
