He debuted in the industry by working with many top-charting musicians such as Justin Bieber, Anderson .Paak, and Eminem. Then, he released his amazing first single, ‘KEEP IT,’ this year. We were instantly pulled by his talent, so we had to tune in to listen to his latest track, ‘PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY!’ This song is a perfect 10/10. Let’s get more into why we love this single so much!
‘PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY’ is the perfect song to listen to this spring! You can dance along to it while you’re getting ready to enjoy some sunlight or while spending your time with a good book in your favorite park. The beat to it is truly like no other! Kid Culture is on a mission to give us the most vibey tunes ever, and he is definitely succeeding with this new single.
The lyrics from this song are also worth noting, as they add a deeper layer to the track that works great with the production. It’s a sweet love song that we can’t stop listening to! Our favorite verse is “I paint my script like Dali, except my watch is frozen, for times I couldn’t focus on what you see in me.” Kid Culture’s connection to Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory” (or the famous melting clocks, if you are unfamiliar with the piece) is beyond brilliant. It blew our minds once we discovered the connection!
