Blame My Youth Releases New Songs, ‘Stupid Human’ and ‘Prizefighter’

Are you looking for your new favorite rock music? We’ve got you covered! Blame My Youth is the rising rock band that needs to be on your radar. Don’t believe us? They recently released two new songs, ‘Stupid Human’ and ‘Prizefighter’ that would say otherwise.

‘Stupid Human’

Their latest song goes hard. If you’ve unfortunately been in a toxic relationship, the lyrics will hit hard, too. However, there’s no denying that they’re very poetic. It’s a song that you can headbang to or cry to. Or both.

Our favorite lyrics

“My heart’s dying on placebo
And I’m just that f*cking vice in your purse
That you light when your hurt,
You get high, I get burned”

On a happier note, their music video is made up of footage from their U.S. tour as support. Even though the song is sad, the video is uplifting, in a sense. They’re focusing on their dream and playing sold-out shows, as support for Hardy. You can check it out below.

‘Prizefighter’

Their other new song, ‘Prizefighter’ is also a banger. The vibe is a little more mellow compared to ‘Stupid Human,’ but the lyrics are just as deep. We love the contrast that the piano brings to the overall sound. It definitely elevates the song and makes them truly stand out.

Our favorite lyrics

“Heart broke dazed again down in pain
Pulled me out the dirt
Put me in the ring
Sayin hey boy come and tie your heart to this chain”

You can listen to the song and watch the lyric video below.

If you’re officially stanning them now, they’ll still be on tour with Hardy for the rest of April! So don’t ‘blame’ us if you miss out. You can see the dates and get tickets here.
