7 Of Our Favorite Moments From Coachella 2023

Another Coachella has come and gone… but not without giving us some pretty amazing memories! Some of our favorite artists took to the desert this April to perform for countless adoring fans, and with such a prestigious festival, the stakes are pretty high to put on a show no one will ever forget. Lucky for us, this year’s performers totally delivered! Here are some of our favorite moments and performances from Coachella 2023, which will definitely go down in history.

Labrinth Bringing Out Billie Eilish

We at THP have had Labrinth and Billie Eilish’s recent collab, ‘Never Felt So Alone,’ on repeat since it came out earlier this month, and we know we’re not alone in that! Seriously, you need to check it out and add it to every playlist you have. But first, you should check out this iconic performance from Coachella, because Labrinth brought Billie out as a special guest for his set! We were looking forward to seeing Lab sing it live already, so you could imagine how excited we were when the lights went up to reveal Billie onstage. Their voices sound simply heavenly together!

Gus Dapperton Teaming Up With BENEE

Ever since Gus Dapperton and BENEE worked together on her breakout ‘Supalonely,’ we’ve been buzzing for more! And luckily, they’ve been keeping us fed this spring with not only a performance together at Coachella, but also a new collab in the form of Gus’ track ‘Don’t Let Me Down.’ This new song is just as catchy and exhilarating as ‘Supalonely,’ kissing an old toxic relationship goodbye as Gus and BENEE move towards better and brighter things. It’ll drill its way into your head and heart from the first listen thanks to the energized basslines and psychedelic vibes. Want more? Keep an eye out for Gus’ HENGE album on July 7th, featuring ‘Don’t Let Me Down!’

Blink-182 Reuniting Onstage

Yeah, you could say we have a thing for Coachella reunions. Can you believe it had been eight years since we saw Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker on one stage? Finding out that Blink-182 were added to the lineup just days before Coachella was such a surreal moment, and they even wound up getting a headlining slot on the second weekend, which is so deserved for a group of legends. They performed everything from ‘I Miss You’ to ‘What’s My Age Again,’ and we’re so jealous of anyone who was there to see it in person. Truly a monumental performance!

Ethel Cain Making Her Coachella Debut

Once we saw this year’s Coachella lineup for the first time, we knew Ethel Cain’s set would be nothing short of breathtaking. Not only do her lyrics instantly engrave themselves into your head when you first hear them, but she truly knows how to connect with a crowd and bring her musical stories to life. Clad in a letterman jacket and some American flag shoes, she brought the audience right to ‘A House In Nebraska’ with some of her most amazing vocals to date, and we’re sure everyone left the show with a musical ‘Crush’ on her! May this be the first of many monumental Coachella sets 🤞

Drones Putting On An Amazing Light Show

Even in between sets, there was plenty to watch at this year’s Coachella! There was a group of lit-up drones putting on a show for the waiting crowds, making shapes like a butterfly and an astronaut. There was even a hand holding the iconic Coachella ferris wheel! We couldn’t think of a better way to pass time while waiting for our faves to take the stage.

YUNGBLUD Rocking Out

One thing about YUNGBLUD? He will always bring an undeniable energy to any stage he sets foot on. Seriously, we’d watch him perform at a McDonald’s PlayPlace if he had a gig there! So you already know he absolutely dominated his Coachella slot, pink socks and all. From classics like ‘Loner’ to more recent faves like ‘fleabag,’ there was something for every member of the Black Hearts Club to enjoy. On top of that, there’s something so special about him singing the“hills of California” lyric from ‘I Think I’m OKAY’ at what might be the biggest festival in California! Aaaaaand you know a set’s amazing if Jisoo of BLACKPINK comes to check it out.

BLACKPINK Making History

When you see #PINKCHELLA trending on Twitter for days on end, you already know BLACKPINK is up to something special. But their headlining Coachella set wasn’t only special – it was downright historic. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are both the first girl group and the first K-Pop stars to headline Coachella, and they made a splash by performing smashes like ‘Shut Down’ and ‘Lovesick Girls’ alongside their solo songs. We’re always excited to see BLACKPINK in our area, and we know the girls still have plenty of records to set and fans to steal the hearts of worldwide.
