Tia Kofi Releases Cover of Beloved Eurovision Song, ‘Satellite’ And It’s Out Of This World!

We at The Honey POP are massive Tia Kofi stans. And tbh, who isn’t? We loved watching her on season 2 of Drag Race UK and we absolutely couldn’t get enough of her show at London’s Moth Club, last month. She’s truly such a talented queen.

With Tia being a digital presenter for Eurovision this year, it’s only fitting that she releases a cover of one of the most iconic winning Eurovision songs! Her cover of ‘Satellite’ definitely modernizes the 2010 hit, which was already a bop. She absolutely slayed! But when doesn’t she? Its faster tempo and electro-pop vibes make it impossible not to dance to. Don’t mind us if you catch us dancing and lip-syncing in the mirror.

While we know you’re going to have this song on repeat, just like us, we recommend watching the visualizer for the song, as well! It includes clips of Tia being fierce in and out of drag.

‘Satellite’ – Lena

We still have so much love for Lena. She’s extremely talented, and after all, it was the winning song for 2010. As it deserves! You can listen to the original version of ‘Satellite’ here.

Tia Has Her Own Original Music, Too

She released a song earlier this year, ‘Curious.’ It has similar vibes, also being electro-pop. This one’s a little more low-key compared to her cover of ‘Satellite.’ But it definitely should have its place in UK nightclubs. Actually, all nightclubs should, especially since she’s clearly universally loved. You can listen to the song below.

What do you think of Tia Kofi’s cover of ‘Satellite?’ Does it get you even more excited for Eurovision 2023? Let us know on Facebook, Instagram, or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPOP!
