But we at The Honey POP always have you covered. So we’ll be focusing on the anticipated releases from Heart Attack Man and Midtown, as well as two up-and-coming artists that you need to know about. This one’s gonna be a long one, so let’s jump right in.
Pacifica —’Anita’
This female-fronted indie rock duo is one you need to listen to immediately. They just released the music video for their song, ‘Anita.’ We’re gonna be real with you. It’s a song that will easily get stuck in your head, but you won’t be complaining because it’s that good. All we have to say is that you ‘Anita’ listen to them. (Sorry, we had to.) Another One Down! — A Bitter Descent Deluxe
If you’re a fan of pop punk then you’ll love Another One Down! This Rhode Island pop punk band just released the deluxe edition of their 2021 album, A Bitter Descent, which includes new songs and acoustic versions of some of the songs from the original album. All of their songs are fantastic, but we recommend ‘Good Grief!’ You can listen to the song below.

Midtown — We’re Too Old To Write New Songs, So Here’s Some Old Songs We Didn’t Write
For our younger readers who might not know, before the days of Cobra Starship, vocalist Gabe Saporta was in another band: Midtown. If you’re not familiar with their discography, we recommend starting with ‘Give It Up.’ We were so stoked when they reunited last year. They just released an EP of covers with the title explaining that they’re “too old to write new songs.” Even though they might not have written these songs, they’re still amazing. This EP includes four songs, but if we had to choose, we’d pick ‘Know It All.’ You can check out the cover below.

Heart Attack Man — Freak Of Nature
If you’re familiar with pop-punk Twitter, then you’re probably familiar with Twitter user, @HeartAttackMane aka “evil doer,” Eric Egan, the vocalist of one of the best pop-punk bands on the scene right now, Heart Attack Man. Freak Of Nature perfectly captures the essence of Heart Attack Man: banger after banger, funny and chaotic lyrics, but also lyrics that hurt when they hit. If you haven’t listened to any of the songs, you need to catch up. We recommend the title track ‘Freak of Nature‘ and ‘Like A Kennedy.’ As far as new songs go, we’re obsessed with ‘9 On Your Bedside’ You can listen below.
