We had the chance to attend Waterparks’ PROPERTY TOUR and not only did we get some incredible photos, but we wanted to do more than just a show review. So we created this list of reasons why you have to see Waterparks live. So let’s get into it…
They Have Incredible Openers
Sophie Powers and Hunny opened up for Waterparks during the PROPERTY TOUR and we fell in love with each of them. Sophie is an incredible powerhouse and she seemed to have a blast up on stage during her set. Hunny was also incredible and we left as major fans of the band. We also immediately added ‘Vowels’ to all of our playlists and we are not ashamed.
You Get To Dress Up Like Awsten
This era was all about the red hair and stars! Each date of the tour had so many fans either wearing wigs or dying their hair bright red, just like Awsten, and adding stars to their makeup. We loved getting to see so many fans expressing themselves and their love for Waterparks. It’s also fun getting to dress up with your friends.
You Get to See Geoff Rock Out On The Guitar
If you are a Parx fan, you know Geoff always has the best time on stage. We love getting to see him rock out on his guitar. He really helps make the show incredible by running back and forth across the stage and making the fans feel seen.
You Can Crowd Surf Or Mosh With Other Fans
The best part of any Parx show is when you get to be with your friends and make new ones in the crowd. There are crowd surfers, mosh pits opening up, and even those who stay toward the sides of the crowd. You will find your people no matter what show you go to.
You Get To See Otto Shred On Drums
Mr. Otto Wood is an incredible drummer and he may be chronically offline, but we hope one day he sees how loved he is and how talented we think he is. You know what they say… it’s Ottoparks, not Waterparks.
Look, we absolutely love Waterparks and have yet to miss a tour since they started the band. We will forever be in awe of the way they create such a welcoming and cool experience each and every tour. We cannot wait to see what the new era will bring and what hair color and style Awsten comes up with next!
