Is there anything we love more than new music? Maybe. If there was, that thing would be new music videos. And it just so happens that some of our favorite artists have been spoiling us in that department lately! It wouldn’t be fair of us to hoard these for ourselves, so we’re putting you onto five new music videos that you need to watch. You can’t just add them to your Watch Later, you need to watch them immediately. So let’s dive right in!
Gabi Sklar – ‘Good Kisser’
If you’re not already keeping tabs on Gabi Sklar, then ‘Good Kisser’ will convince you that she’s an artist you need to watch! The song has such a refreshing, dark pop feel that’s perfect for fans of The Weeknd’s ‘Earned It’ or Madison Beer’s ‘Showed Me,’ taunting a “bad friend [who’s] a real good kisser” as she questions whether it’s worth getting romantically involved with them. The music video leans into a retro vibe, with Gabi becoming parts of the art at a museum while on a date. It’s such a unique concept and we seriously can’t get enough of it or Gabi’s music!
The song explores the ‘maybe I should, maybe I shouldn’t’ relationship with a really good friend — it’s about that push-and-pull of intuition vs. temptation.

grandson – ‘Half My Heart’
One thing grandson will always do? Absolutely blow our minds. ‘Half My Heart’ is one of our favorite songs he’s ever released, exploring the “circular, cyclical nature of repeated habits” in relationships, as grandson himself puts it. The video plays with the idea of avoiding your fate or a romance you’re meant to experience by sending Jordan back to the days where we’d all run away from each other in a literal sense while playing tag or roaming around a playground. It’s such a nostalgic concept that matches the song’s story so well – the right love will feel as simple as those days did, and you don’t have to run away from a good thing that makes you feel like that.
‘Half My Heart’ is about feeling stuck in love. We wanted to return to the child-like innocence and vulnerability of giving your heart to someone and all the frustration, bliss and embarrassment that comes with it. Once Jordan finally loosens his grip on the idea and lets go, he is able to break the spell and start the journey with his unknown love interest at the end.

Jack Harlow – ‘Gang Gang Gang’
If there’s anything you should know about us at THP, it’s that we’ll lose it whenever Jack Harlow does anything. Sorry, it’s just a fact! His Jackman. album has been on repeat for us since release day, so you could imagine how intrigued we were to find out that ‘Gang Gang Gang’ got a music video. The song explores how loyal you should really be to your friends, with the chorus giving into (or mocking) that loyalty while the verses question whether you should still stand by them if you find out they did something terrible. It’s such an important topic that doesn’t really get touched on in mainstream music, and we’re so glad Jack not only addressed it, but is calling more attention to it with this video.

KAROL G – ‘WATATI’ Feat. Aldo Ranks
The upcoming Barbie movie isn’t just a movie, it’s a cultural moment. And we can’t express enough just how excited we are that KAROL G is part of that moment! We already loved ‘WATATI’ with Aldo Ranks, but the music video made us love it even more… just when we thought that wasn’t possible. The video combines clips from the film with shots of KAROL at the World Of Barbie experience in Los Angeles, and it captures the fun energy of the song so well. Between the colors, sets, and costumes, we really can’t get enough! This is just the energy we needed to kick off our summer. Could you be a doll and watch it on repeat with us?

The Used – ‘Giving Up’
We’re never ‘Giving Up’ on loving The Used, and their new music video for ‘Giving Up’ proves exactly why. It’s a step away from their usual aesthetic, but that risk certainly paid off, bringing art by RUN ZËBRA RUN to life and creating what might be our favorite video they’ve ever released. The animation and color schemes are so refreshing, while illustrating the lyrics in such vivid ways that we hadn’t thought about before. We love that The Used are never afraid to push boundaries or try something new with their art! Let’s give it up for their vision 👏
We are really happy with the art RUN ZËBRA RUN created for our ‘Giving Up’ music video. It’s very original and different for The Used, but still feels very on point for us. Enjoy the ride.
