The sun is shining, school is out, and summer is finally here. Whether you’re a fan of the season or not, one of our favorite parts about it is that there’s always a plethora of feel-good, upbeat, dance-y tracks that drop when the season changes. We have some brand-new tracks from Anitta, Bebe Rexha, Beck, and more to share. Maybe they’ll find their way onto your summer songs playlists?
‘If Only I’ – Loud Luxury x Two Friends ft. Bebe Rexha
Everything about this song screams summer. From the bright and colorful music video to the upbeat production, it just fills us with feel-good vibes. This is the perfect song to play while you’re hanging at the beach or lounging poolside. No need to wish, you can emulate the summer party and carefree vibes in the ‘If Only I’ video just by adding this to your playlists. Source: we’ve made lots of beach day playlists. Bebe Rexha kills it as always with her vocals and the production courtesy of Two Friends and Loud Luxury goes crazy. It’s the producer/DJ and artist team up for the summer and we’re simply obsessed.
‘Odyssey’ – Beck & Phoenix
This is apparently the summer of collabs. And not just collabs but some iconic team-ups too. Not only did Beck & Phoenix team up for this catchy, dance-worthy, earworm of a song, but they’re helping you prepare for their summer tour. They’re co-headlining the aptly named Summer Odyssey tour starting in August and we can’t imagine a better way to hear ‘Odyssey.’ ‘Odyssey’ is vibrant and upbeat and bouncy production will make you want to get up in dance. The vocals flow together so smoothly and it’s just an all-around fun track that is sure to hype up any summer playlist.
‘Funk Rave’ – Anitta
Anitta is bringing a Brazilian funk flair to your summer playlists with this track. ‘Funk Rave’ is the definition of summer fun. It’s up-tempo and vivacious. We literally started tapping our feet and dancing in our seats the second we heard the first few notes. The lyrics are all about being a bad b*tch and living it up and it is the perfect addition to any summer playlist. Anitta wanted to bring her Brazilian funk roots to the masses and we can wholeheartedly say she succeeded.
Which one of these tracks is earning a spot on your summer playlist? We think it should be all of them but that’s just our humble opinion. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or drop us a line on our socials. We’re always buzzing about something on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
