New Must-Listen To Music From Fall Out Boy And Adam Lambert

Friday is our favorite day at The Honey POP. Not only are we looking forward to the weekend, but we look forward to all of the new music as well! Fall Out Boy recently released the studio version of their cover of Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire.’ If that wasn’t exciting enough, there are also three remixes of Adam Lambert’s ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real).’ We have a lot to talk about, so let’s get right into it.

“The thing I liked about the original is that it’s just kind of a time capsule, so it’s just got things in it, but there’s no judgment on it or whatever. It’s just of like, “Here are these things that happened.” And there’s triumphant characters and there’s despair and it’s just kind of the tapestry of human existence.”

We always love a good FOB cover, and this one is no exception. They first performed this live on the So Much For (Tour) Dust tour, and this one is on the setlist every night. Let’s be real, there’s a lot of pressure with covering this song. They absolutely nailed it with covering both important but tragic events and fun pop culture references. 

Some of our favorite pop culture lyric references in the song: “Black Parade / Taylor Swift, Stranger Things / Tom DeLonge and aliens.”

Adam Lambert — You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) – Remixes

To start Pride month off right, Adam Lambert and Sigala released ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real),’ which we’ve been listening to nonstop all month. He really said we’re going to end Pride month with a bang because now three (3) remixes dropped today, featuring: MikeQ, John “J-C” Carr & Bill Coleman 808 Beach, and Husko! They’re all so amazing that we truly can’t pick a favorite. You’ll have to listen for yourselves below.
