The Struts absolutely killed it in London! If you know of them, you already know how unique they are. If you don’t, allow us to introduce you to your new favorite band. Every aspect we all love from the 80’s rock bands, with a modern twist. Think Queen and Greta Van Fleet with a hint of The Darkness. Every generation needs and deserves a rock band to shape their lives, The Struts might just be for us.
Straight out of the gate, they set the place on fire with ‘Dirty Sexy Money,’ one of their most iconic songs. When you introduce a show with a song that energetic, it’s sometimes hard to go out with a bang too, but they had no issue doing so. ‘Could Have Been Me’ closed out the show, a fan-favorite hit. From start to finish, their performance was everything you’d wish for from a rock band, and more.
When a show has fans of all ages, all genders, and all races, it goes to show everyone can find parts of themselves in music. Watching everyone have the time of their lives with The Struts was a moment to remember. The band was so interactive with the crowd throughout the show, it made it really special.
We can only deeply apologise for the lack of photos of Gethin (the drummer). It was dimly lit at the back of the stage… Petition to put more spotlights on drummers, anyone? We’d sign it in a heartbeat, we love drummers!
They’re the perfect band if you need that hit of classic rock music, or maybe you’re slightly older and need a hit of nostalgia, The Struts will absolutely have you covered.
