Calling all music lovers! As always, we’ve been watching the music scene, and there are some great new releases! If you’re looking for some new music, from Gayle to James Arthur, we’ve got you covered with these five songs.
‘Already Over’ – Mike Shinoda
Do we have any Linkin Park fans around? If so, you’re already familiar with Mike’s work. But even if not, Mike has started off his solo journey with a track you’re bound to love!
Backed by a rock track, Mike says this song creates a bridge from the past to the future. After hearing lyrics such as “Floating in-between places, somewhere that the signal won’t work. Hoping you could be nameless, watched off of the edge of the earth.” We can’t wait to hear more!
‘i don’t sleep as good as i used to’ – GAYLE
Raise your hand if one day you realized the world’s pretty messed up and haven’t been the same since. That’s exactly what this new GAYLE track is about.
Backed by a pop-rock track, GAYLE has once again delivered a relatable bop! With lyrics like “I’m a product of divorce and the economy, but either way, it doesn’t help me dream.‘Cause how am I supposed to live my life when everyone’s born to die?” You’ll be thinking about this track for a long time.
‘Just Us’ – James Arthur
It’s no secret here that we love James and can’t wait to hear his new album, Bitter Sweet Love. So this track has us beyond excited for what’s to come. Of course, James has given us another beautiful single that we just had to share!
“I’m so tired of running, I’m sick of letting you down. It’s been a lonely road but it’s all over now. It’s just us from here on out.” We’re not crying, you’re crying, or maybe we all are. The way James explores love in his music is guaranteed to connect with you and make you a fan.
‘Look At You Now’ – Gabriela Bee
This hopeful track will touch your hearts! At only 17, Gabriela has created such a beautiful and mature track. We have to say, we’re in awe of her.
Dedicated to her younger self, Gabriela sings “I wish you knew of what was waiting, it’s all for you. Don’t feel so jaded, made it to June. The sun is coming out, out.” The song expresses her want to reassure and remind her younger self that everything happens for a reason, and that you will be okay.
‘Me, Myself, & I’ – Sarah Cothran
In this new pop song, Sarah puts the spotlight on her mental health. She explores the internal struggles everyone likely deals with at one point. “When they’re fighting where do I find peace? I feel all of them inside of me. The person I was, the person I am, and the person I’m trying to be.” Anyone else feeling called out?
