And she’s done it again, folks! Charlotte Sands has impressed us, captivated us, and swept us off our feet yet again with her music video for her latest single, ‘get over it.’
Infused with an addictive aura of 90s and early 2000s vibes, the ‘get over it‘ music video sees Charlotte Sands wearing clothes from those eras while wielding a microphone on a bed surrounded by photos. We’re super curious about what those photos really are, but we can say that they are likely used to reflect on the memories of a relationship.
Charlotte Sands may have taken a simplistic approach with the ‘get over it’ music video, but it still packs as much of a punch as the song. And, come on. We’ll never tire of seeing her wield a microphone in a music video or otherwise, especially with her enthusiasm. She really showcases her performer side in this video, and honey, we’ve seen her live before. Trust us when we say this energy carries over onto the stage!
Something Feels Familiar…
Maybe it’s just us, but this music video has given us some slight flashbacks. The bed part of it all in the ‘get over it’’’ music video has us thinking back to the one for Charlotte Sands’ ‘Dress.’
There’s also a bed in the music video for ‘Keep Me Up All Night.’
We’re tapping our temples and scrunching our eyebrows, wondering if this was a purposeful callback to those music videos. Or maybe Charlotte just loves her bed? Because you know what? Same. We’d live in ours if we could!
