Eight P.M. on a Friday night. The Black Roses were dressed to the nines with their incredible outfits and light sticks. You could feel the excitement in the air! The Dawn to Dusk Tour had finally landed in Houston and we were all ready to see one of our favorite K-Rock bands, The Rose.
The Rose Takes The Stage
Opening with ‘Eclipse,’ The Rose made sure the crowd was ready for them before they stepped foot onto stage. And Houston’s energy was there to match that of the band. If you haven’t had the chance to catch The Rose’s set before, you are for sure in for a treat if you can make it to one of the remaining dates of the US and Canada leg of the Dawn to Dusk Tour.
It was an incredible honor to be in that audience on Friday. Fans and the fandom are one of the most important aspects of the music industry and getting to experience the energy from The Black Rose (The Rose’s fandom) was a true honor. Although we are only a small part of the fandom, we felt a camaraderie in that room.
About mid-way through the set, Woosung stopped the show so that the crowd could join in and sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Jaehyeong, who was turning 29. It was such a special moment for The Rose and Black Roses to get the chance to celebrate one of the beloved members of the band. Happy birthday, Jaehyeong! We hope you had an incredible night and felt the love from your adoring Houston fans.
