As we reach the final few days before Disney’s ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ releases in theatres, the lead single from the soundtrack, the Bebe Rexha ‘You Can’t Stop The Girl’ music video has been released.

The video starts with Bebe Rexha leaving her house in running gear, presumably to go on her morning jog, when she notices red explosions in the sky. Instead of going inside to take cover she continues on her jog, running towards what looks like a rainforest taking over a tower block where she is joined with other female runners of all shapes, sizes, color, and disabilities. The scenes of reality then begin to collide with those from the movie as the women race through the city. We then see Bebe in a beautiful glittery ball gown as she wanders through a hazy enchanted forest where she’s joined with the Three Good Faries as she stands at the top of the waterfall and looks out to the city.
The video was conceived by Bebe herself and award-winning director, Sophie Muller, and is a cinematic, modern take on female empowerment and dream-big possibilities.
Entertainment Tonight will air a profile of Bebe from behind-the-scenes on the video set which airs tonight at 7:30pm on CBS 2 in LA and NYC – check your local listings so you can tune in here.
Bebe will also be giving her debut performance of the single this Friday on The Ellen Show and is not one to be missed!
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is in cinemas from Friday, October 18
