Yungblud’s New EP The Underrated Youth was released today! Since it’s drop we have not been able to stop listening to it!
The six-track EP includes ‘Parents’ and the track released last week ‘Original Me’ with Imagine Dragon’s Dan Reynolds.
Yungblud and Dan Reynolds will be on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday 21st October.
After exploding onto the scene in 2018 with the hugely successful ’21st Century Liability’ Yungblud has toured the globe with rebel-minded hip-hop-infused rock-and-roll sounds that have created a fiercely loyal dedicated fanbase.
Speaking about the album Dominic Harrison (as he is otherwise known) says: “This EP is about all the people I’ve met and the stories I’ve heard in the past couple of years”.
Having listened to the EP it’s really hard for me to pick a favorite, but I have to say the music video for ‘Hope For The Underrated Youth’ is extremely powerful and emotive, while I found the opening track ‘Braindead’ a firm favorite and quickly added to my personal playlist to listen to as often as I possibly can!
If you have missed the mark before coming across this article I ask for you to take twenty minutes out of your day and check out this EP and maybe add ’21st Century Liability’ to your Spotify or streaming platform while you’re there!
These songs are undeniably moving, lyrically beautiful and confirm we can only expect Yungblud to grow bigger in popularity and can expect big things in the future!
Having just finished a sold-out North American tour, Yungblud is now about to start a UK/European tour. Tickets on sale here.
Here at The Honey POP, we are particularly excited about the Brixton show where we will be in attendance!
