We are so in love with Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi‘s friendship. They very publicly share their affection for one another online and always have banter which fans are always living for. Now Lewis has spoken about how a collaboration between the BFFs does in fact exist and I’m willing to sacrifice a lot for it to be released.
Speaking at the Q Awards after bagging ‘Best Track’ for his international hit ‘Someone You Loved’, Lewis said: “We did do a song together. I love it. It’s very good. But I would say that because I want him to release it because I like the money.”
You’d be rolling in it, Capaldi ma sen!
He continued: “We were in London with the same guys I wrote ‘Someone You Loved’ with because they also wrote one of the songs on Niall’s first record and stuff with One Direction.”
Listen, someone really needs to sweet talk Niall into agreeing for this song to be a thing. Though I must admit, I don’t think it’d take much because he recently said during an Instagram Q&A that he also wants a collab with Capaldi and he’s been backing self-proclaimed America’s Sweetheart since before he made it big. Any Niall Horan fan will remember how Lewis opened for Nialler at the Scottish dates of the ‘Flicker World Tour’.
cheers to the boi @NiallOfficial for having us on to support in Glasgow over the weekend, hope everyone who caught my set didn’t think it was shit 🕺🏻x

So, I guess the ball is in Niall’s court. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this collab does make it on either one of their next albums, so now all we have to do is pray and make 11:11 wishes because I- I mean, uh, we really need this collab!
