It’s been a long four years since Niall, Louis, Liam, and Harry announced that they’d be taking a hiatus from some little boyband they were part of and ever since, the world has been crying out for a One Direction reunion – including Coldplay.
Speaking about their new album, lead singer Chris Martin revealed that it’s all about trying to get 1D back together. Okay, a mood.
“Yeah, every song!” He laughed while chatting to ‘The Official Big Top 40’. “Well it worked with Take That!” he added. “We did it ten years ago.”
“It’s all based upon trying to get One Direction back together” 🙏

We’re not too sure as to whether or not Coldplay are anchoring after a One Direction reunion or whether it’s all a bit of banter, but if it’s the former then we’re ready to play this album on repeat outside ever member of 1D’s tours while we wait to go in until they get the hint.
Niall recently opened up as to why the hiatus was so crucial and we totally respect that. But all we’re asking is if they can just open up their Google calendars, have a chat and work their schedules out together before penning in the plans for a One Direction reunion. That’s all!
Coldplay’s album ‘Everyday Life’ is out November 22 and is available for pre-order now
