Vanessa Hudgens is a Triple Threat in Princess Switch Sequel

Vanessa Hudgens movie The Princess Switch was launched on Netflix last Christmas and boy was it popular! So Popular in fact, that it has earned itself a part 2.

Vanessa Hudgens is going to produce and star in The Princess Switch: Switched Again.

Last year, it was the marmite movie of the season with most people saying it was the “worst best movie” they had seen. It was a true feel good movie, with parent trap vibes set to a rom-com theme.

It followed the story of two girls(Both portrayed by Hudgens) from polar opposite worlds, Stacy(a baker) and Margaret(Duchess of Montenegro).

In true switcheroo style, they swapped lives so that Duchess Margaret could discover what life was like outside of the palace, while Stacy discovered what life as a royal would be like.

Obviously though it wouldn’t be a rom-com without boys!! So cue two very handsome lads for the girls to fall in love with. They came in the form of Stacy’s BFF with a totes adorable daughter and A Royal Prince.

So what can we expect from part 2?

Another Hudgens look alike is added to the bill for the sequel. As if she hasn’t given herself enough work already!

Netflix twitter account ‘see what’s next’ revealed ‘In the sequel, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne and hits a rough patch with Kevin so it’s up to Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike — party girl Fiona — foils their plans.’

It seems like this movie will be a big hit with fans with many already excited at the prospect of a sequel.

Unfortunately though we are gonna have to wait another year for its release. As the movie isn’t due to be on our screens until 2020.

Don’t worry though as Vanessa will still be gracing our screens this Christmas as her new movie “The Knight Before Christmas” will be ready to view on Netflix November 21st!!
