Lewis Capaldi is setting us up for Christmas with the perfect gift: an extended version of his debut album, ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’. Take our money now!
Ending the incredible year that self-acclaimed America’s Sweetheart has had, he’s treating us to an additional three tracks to the already incredible album: ‘Before You Go’, ‘Leaving My Love Behind’, and ‘Let It Roll’.
Lewis’s global hit topped the UK Official Singles chart for an almost whopping 7 weeks before it bolted up to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its 24th consecutive week on the tally. Not to mention other successes which include number 1 on the US Top 40 radio chart for the third week in a row, spending 5 weeks at number 1 on the Hot AC Radio Chart as well as the Shazam chart for the eighth consecutive week and hit top five on the US Spotify Chart.
The original version of Lewis’ debut album is the fastest-selling UK debut of 2019 with an incredible 90,000 albums sold in the first week. To date, it has sold over 1.5 million adjusted albums worldwide and combined global streams now exceed 2.6 billion.
Now Lewis is embarking on his European tour with Donna Missal and has recently announced he will be supporting his best friend Niall Horan on the North American leg of the ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ 2020 world tour. He recently dropped his latest single ‘Bruises’ which also is part of the EP of the same name and is also the bookies’ favorite to be singing the theme of this year’s infamous John Lewis ad.
To have watched Lewis since his humble support set for Niall back on the ‘Flicker’ World Tour in 2018 to becoming a superstar in his own right has truly been a pleasure for us at The Honey POP and we are so stoked to see what 2020 has in store for him!
‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ extended edition is available for pre-order now
