Welcome back to The Weekly Buzz! Our weekly column that keeps you in the know about everything going on in the world of pop culture that you can’t afford to miss! From music to TV and everything in between. We’re buzzin’ about it.
Harry Styles once again broke the internet as he finally announced his second album, ‘Fine Line’! He also announced a one night only show at The Forum to celebrate the launch and trying to get tickets was certainly a task… but worry not if you didn’t get lucky as rumor has it, he’s set to perform at the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury in 2020! He’s also on the same line-up as his pal and bandmate, Liam Payne, to perform at Capital FM’s ‘Jingle Bell Ball’ in December – we demand reunion selfies!
Speaking of Liam, boy did he cause a scene this week! British breakfast show, ‘Good Morning Britain’, outed themselves as secret stans as they accidentally showed his nude Calvin Klein campaign live on air in front of the nation! We know we like sausages with our Full English in the morning but…
While we’re on the subject of 1D, Niall Horan was thriving this week as he dropped a Diplo remix of his single ‘Nice To Meet Ya’. Tickets also went on sale for the North American leg of his 2020 world tour and he introduced us to Fletcher, who will be opening the shows – we can’t help but stan her. And if you’re still missing One Direction, Coldplay may have the answer to reunite them as Chris Martin says their upcoming album is about getting the 1D lads back together. Fingers crossed!
From one band to another, the Jonas Brothers released their Christmas single ‘Like It’s Christmas’ which is a true jingle bell bop. We also celebrated Kevin Jonas‘ birthday, which makes us feel old – where have the years gone?
In other news, Little Mix dropped their first clothing line, Ariana Grande celebrated one year of ‘Thank U Next’, Taylor Swift stood up for smaller artists in the industry, Billie Eilish is encouraging fans to help fight climate change and Zayn announced a brand new single which is gonna be lit.

This week was feisty for the entire KPOP community as Simon Cowell rubbed them the wrong way. In a bit to promote his upcoming show ‘The X Factor: The Band’ he claimed that it was time for UK-POP to take over KPOP and of course, stans did not take that too lightly… yikes.
Meanwhile, Rosé from BLACKPINK simply stunned as she attended the Valentino show in Bejing, China. While we wait for the group’s comeback, we at The Honey POP decided to rank the best of their EP’s – let us know if you agree.
