Taylor Swift has been the talk of the week after she surprise dropped her remix of ‘Lover’ with none other than Shawn Mendes! But that’s not all, she dropped another single, this time from the upcoming live-action movie adaption of ‘Cats’! She teamed up with musical legend Andrew Lloyd Webber to pen the chillingly stunning ‘Beautiful Ghosts’. If you’re hoping for more iconic Taylor collabs, then Niall Horan is your guy as he talked about wanting to work with the ‘ME!’ superstar, though he’s not sure if they’ll ever have the time. We can hope, right?
But, with the good came the bad, as Taylor penned an open letter to her fans about the awful predicament she’s in with regards to her music and not being able to use her own songs. Swifties, pop culture fans and celebrities rallied around with support and even created a petition to free her music. We’re hoping it all works out for the best!
Back to those 1D lads now and Simon Cowell got everyone up in arms as he hinted that a One Direction reunion is likely to happen within the next five years! In the meantime, Harry has announced his 2020 ‘Love On Tour’ which goes on sale this week! He also took on double duty on SNL which was everything.
In other news, Camila Cabello announced her new album ‘Romance’, Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels reunited to perform their song ‘Anxiety’, Awsten Knight is trying to manifest a 5SOS X Waterparks tour and Little Mix helped make two fans dreams come true as they assisted with an engagement proposal! Phew, what a week.
What a week it’s been in the KPOP community! Blackpink went and smashed a record by becoming the first KPOP group to surpass 1 billion views on YouTube for their ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ music video, which is such an incredible achievement.
Then G Dragon dropped the dopest collab with Nike, meaning your Christmas present this year is sorted!
ARMYs have been sleuthing again as they come up with the theories of Suga‘s alter ego Agust D dropping a new album really soon. Just gi-give it to us!
