Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies Rehearsed ‘Give it Up’ From Victorious and We’re Living For It

Lets ‘Give It Up’ to Ariana Grande for expressing her excitement over a huge surprise shared on Twitter the night of November 19th.

This prompted a reply from someone we know all too well: Elizabeth Gillies, Arianas co-star from the original cast of the Broadway musical 13, and probably more well known as her co-star from the Nickelodeon show Victorious. Liz and Ariana played the roles of Jade and Cat. If you know, you know ;).

Ariana held a concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta (my city! Whoop whoop!) and as many fans know, it is not uncommon to show up extra early to wait in line for your favorite artist, and this show was no exception. Fans who arrived a few hours before the concert were lucky enough to hear some of Ariana’s soundcheck, and were totally shocked at what they heard!

These lucky fans rushed to Twitter to let the rest of us Ariana Grande fans in on the scoop, posting video of what they believed to be the infamous song ‘Give it Up’ from their old show. If you really listen you can hear the gorgeous harmonies Ariana and Liz are dishing out. Color me jealous!

If the pair do re-release this track, this may be her biggest collab since the ‘Good as Hell’ record with Lizzo!

Did Liz and Ariana perform together?

You bet they did! And they killed it too! Liz and Ari wore matching outfits with the tall knee high boots. (I wish I could pull those off).

You know who else made a surprise appearance? Matthew Bennet! He played Robbie on β€˜Victorious’! He even serenaded Ariana with his song ‘I Think You’re Swell.’ How cute!

Are you excited about this iconic reunion happening? So are we! Who else would you die to see reunite? Let us know in the comments and come join us in fan-girling on Twitter @TheHoneyPop!
