Have you ever wondered what all of the hype is about seeing Yungblud live? Especially at one of his concerts? I mean it can’t be that great… can it?
I’m here to tell you that his performances are absolutely worth every word of praise we can think of! And just to prove it to you, let me show you 5 reasons you should go see Yunglud live!
1 . A Yungblud Show has an Electric Energy
— The Honey POP 🍯 (@thehoneypop) November 21, 2019
We all know that Dominic has a whirlwind of non-stop energy, but put him up on stage as Yungblud, and you might as well start a fire! So it doesn’t come as a shock to us when we see a crowd full of fans matching the same energy. His fans wait in the queue for so long, he even appears from above to hype them up even before the lines are let into the venue! We love an eccentric king!
2 . His Songs are Important
He may be jumping and dancing around, but that doesn’t change the fact that his songs hold extremely important messages. Songs like ‘Polygraph Eyes‘ talk about consent, and how uncool it is to ignore the signs of distress when it comes to sexual encounters. Its beautiful to watch the entire floor bounce and shout the words “Leave it alone mate, she doesn’t want to go home with you.” What an amazing message to spread to fans! Those aren’t the only songs with a message he also includes ‘Parents’, ‘Machine Gun’, and ’11 Minutes’ on his set list.
3 . He Encourages His Fans On and Off Stage To Have an Open Conversation About Mental Health.
By making fans feel like they are at home at his show, he inspires us to motivate each other to seek help when needed. He is so careful to never preach to his audience since that’s not what they came for. However, We can see a difference throughout the Black Hearts Club, and even those who aren’t quite fans. Dom had created a spark that has started a fire, and suddenly there’s a hunger to have change for these issues.
4 . He Helps Us Cope With What Were Going Through, No Matter What
I swear Yungblud has a song for everything. Sad songs, angry songs, songs for grieving, you can’t go wrong. There’s a reason for that, you know. It has been no secret that Dominic has ADHD. His music aims to help people just like him. His song ‘Medication‘ pulls us into his personal life a little bit and shows us how difficult it was for him to overcome that point in his life. If he can do it so can you!
“I’m manic all of the time” He explained. Then added, “Music made me feel still, and my head has never been still.”

5 . The Black Hearts Club are His Family
We are honored to be a part of the fan base, but even more honored to be called a member of Yungblud’s family. This is what he has wanted since the beginning. He even has tattoos of black hearts on his knuckles. I’m sure I’m not the only one, but I just really want a Dom hug!
“Genuinely, all I wanted to do was create a family and movement of people who felt like they were lonely and didn’t belong. There’s something about us all singing together in solidarity that just makes me inspired and happy. It makes me feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, in this moment, doing exactly this thing.”
– Dominic Harrison in an interview with Alternative Press
