What a night! Last night saw the AMAs 2019 take place, which celebrated the best of American music from the past year. But we all know that the second most talked about thing of the night was, of course, the fashion.
Artists and celebrities alike put on their glad rags and strutted their stuff down the red carpet to pose in front of a bunch of photographers and media, because they live glamorous lives that let them do that. Sigh. What fun that must be.
We were bedazzled with some incredible looks but there’s some that really need a round of applause…
Can we just talk about Lizzo for a sec? Her look can be described as simple, yet totally effective. She wore a coral, one-shouldered ruffle dress which looked incredible on her. She styled it with a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals, Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewelry, and her iconic, micro Valentino purse. Seriously! It’s what completed the whole outfit! She was literally the talk of the AMAs fashion.
Misty Copeland was definitely a favorite for us. She was dressed in a Han Wen gown, which was a button-up gown with an elegant train around her. She paired the dress with Stuart Weitzman heels and Pamela Froman earrings. Her overall look is to DIE FOR, and she’s definitely at the top of our best-dressed list!
Another AMAs attendee we have to applaud is Billy Porter. He is known for taking risks and executing each of his looks successfully (Have you seen his look for the 2019 Oscars?). He once again surprises us this year with a Thom Browne look, which was pair with a sculptural hat made by Stephen Jones and an Oscar Heyman ring. One thing we know? Billy Porter is never here to play!
There were so many amazing looks that we can’t decide on our favorite! So we’re asking you, THP readers, to vote below for your favorite looks of the AMAs 2019! Let us know who you think should have been crowned the best dressed of the night.
