Fresh Music Friday: Harry Styles, Adam Lambert, Niall Horan and MORE!

Welcome to Fresh Music Friday; where every week we at The Honey POP will be giving you the lowdown on this week’s sweetest releases! Here’s your chance to see what your faves have been up to as well as discover some new music which you can easily fall in love with.

‘Adore You’ – Harry Styles

Harry Styles has released his new single which is potentially the most anticipated song of 2019 following his genius marketing campaign. The questions and queries surrounding the mysterious land of Eroda are all answered within the song’s iconic music video (except why you shouldn’t mention the pig in the pub). The song alone is pure fire and follows the groovy 80s vibe that other songs from his upcoming album ‘Fine Line’ are conforming to, which re-introduces Styles’ fans to previous iconic decades of music with a modern twist.

‘Believe’ – Adam Lambert

Our beautiful king is BACK and this time he’s delivering a new single in the style of a cover. Adam Lambert gives Cher’s 1998 hit ‘Believe’ a stunning new lease of life that is sure to give you chills. The slower-paced version of the hugely popular song gives it a more romantic and emotional feeling compared to the disco bop original and we cannot get enough!

‘Put a Little Love on Me’ – Niall Horan

Amidst the hype of Niall’s triumphant return to the music industry for his yet-to-be-titled second album, the Irish heartthrob has slowed it down with his emotional new single. The piano-based ballad showcases Horan’s heart on his sleeve as he sings about a former lover, which he says is “one of my favorite songs I’ve written and very special to me.” Definitely a tearjerker that we recommend listening to when you’re in need of a good old cry.

‘Middle Of The Night’ – Monsta X

Monsta X are back and they’ve treated us to a new single in English! This is the band’s first release since the departure of Wonho but Monbebes will still get to hear his vocals in their forthcoming English album which releases Valentine’s Day 2020. The amorous mid-tempo track is the ideal listening material for those late-night lustrious feelings and is a great first impression of their new record. We can’t stop grooving to it!

‘Christmas Tree Farm’ – Taylor Swift

Hopping on the Christmas song bandwagon and potentially has the ability to top them all with ‘Christmas Tree Farm’ is Miss Taylor Swift. The festive bop takes her down the familiar roots of her humble country beginnings donned with jingle bells and a slight pop flair. The accompanying music video is a sweet compilation of home videos from Tay’s childhood Christmases. It’s gotten us here at Fresh Music Friday in the yuletide spirits and has earned its place on all future holiday playlists.

Today is a double-release day for Mr Liam Payne! As well as his debut album ‘LP1’ dropping, he’s also released his latest single ‘Live Forever’ with Cheat Codes. The collaboration with the DJ trio is a pure banger which is coated with Liam’s smooth velvet vocals which is a perfect contender for radio charts and to request on the dance floor at any club.

‘Finally // Beautiful Stranger’ – Halsey

Speaking of double-releases, Halsey’s first of two releases today is ‘Finally // Beautiful Stranger’ which comes from her upcoming album ‘Manic’. The song sees Halsey turn to a solemn 90’s vibe with a rich acoustic that hears the singer-songwriter sing about opening up and being vulnerable enough to ignite a relationship with someone. It’s a different sound to Halsey’s typical genre, but it’s new and fresh and something we are loving here at Fresh Music Friday!

‘Let Me Know’ – Clear Eyes, Drew Love & Lauren Jauregui

Lauren Jauregui has an early Christmas gift for her fans as she joins forces with Clear Eyes and Drew Love to deliver the hazy R&B track ‘Let Me Know’. The bass-heavy song sings about a distancing relationship that craves clearer communication. This is the first we’ve heard music from Lauren in almost a year, but her fans should start get excited as she’s been talking about her debut album which she claims will be “[her] soul on a platter” which is being finalized. We can hardly wait!

The boyband’s festive track is hot on the heels of their latest single ‘What Am I’ and is a cute puppy-love affair that’s perfect for any fan who’s feeling the love this holiday season. Being penned by Ed Sheeran, it’s no surprise that this song has us swooning and hunting down the mistletoe.

We’re back with Halsey‘s second release of this week and when she announced ‘Suga’s Interlude’, ARMYS lost their collective sh*t! Halsey and BTS have been close since their smash single ‘Boy With Luv’ so for Suga to hop on this stunning track, it truly cements their friendship. The honest lyrics which reflect on achieving your dreams were penned by the duo and hit home to ARMYs. Halsey sings in English while Suga raps in Koren over the earnest melody which harbors a lot of emotion for fans.
