Chelsea Cutler – ‘I Was in Heaven’ + ‘How to Be Human’

In anticipation of her debut album, Chelsea Cutler is here with a brand new single. The singer dropped her new track ‘I Was in Heaven’ on December 6th, nearly a month before the release of the album. The debut album, titled How to Be Human comes out January of next year and we can’t wait to hear it!

‘I Was in Heaven’ is a slow, wistful track, singing of a lost love. It relates the all too painful experience of the “heaven” of dreaming that an ex love still loves you. Assuming your ex love was more of an angel than a devil that is. Her raspy, melancholic vocals fit the track perfectly, backed by the soft sounds of piano and guitar. The song really exudes the vibe of a dream-like experience, just like what the lyrics describe. It’s the type of song you can listen to while walking along the beach at sunset so if that’s your vibe, this is the song for you.

And you’re in luck because you can listen to the song right here!

If you love this song, you can check out some of her other singles too. Recently released singles include ‘You Are Losing Me,’ and ‘Lucky’ (in collaboration with Alexander 23).

Now, if after listening to all of these songs, you want even more, you don’t have long to wait. Her debut album ‘How to Be Human’ comes out on January 17th, 2020. In case you weren’t already excited enough, here’s the track list:
