The Weeknd Claims 2 Highest Spots For Streams & Sales This Week!

2019 may almost be over but The Weeknd managed to become the first R&B artist this year to hold the two spots for song streams & sales consecutively!

With ‘Heartless‘ hitting number 1 and ‘Blinding Lights’ at number 11 at the same time within the Billboard Hot 100!

The GRAMMY Award winning, diamond certified chart topping Toronto artist is no stranger to success. With a total of 9 Hot 100 Top Tens under his belt, and with music as incredible as his, it’s not hard so see why!

What is fascinating and truly awesome though is how he has also managed to fight off some pretty fierce competition, including the likes of Mariah Carey’s re-entry for ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’ Any song that can battle this track in the festive season and come out on top you KNOW is a force to be reckoned with!

Anything that Abel produces and creates always manages to make us fall in love with him that little bit more. Lyrically, rhythmically and production wise his efforts are flawless.

We have truly been fed by The Weeknd this year. His performance on The Stephen Colbert Show being no exception!

That’s not all, though! The Weeknd is set to make his big screen debut alongside Adam Sandler in the movie ‘Uncut Gems,’ available in select theaters from December 13th and nationwide December 25th. A truly wonderful Christmas present to us all, don’t you think?

Are you loving ‘Heartless’ and will you be watching the movie? You can buy or stream the single here! And once you’ve checked it out, let us know what you thought in the comments below or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPop!
