If you thought you had already been fed all the good music of 2019, you better have room for dessert because Leven Kali has dropped a new single and it’s a certified bop.
Leven is closing out the year – and the decade -with a dose of nostalgia with brand new single ‘Homegirl’ featuring Smino and Topaz Jones. If you’re ever craving the simpler times of the early 2000s, this song is sure to transport you back – at least mentally – as it boasts the sounds of early noughties hip hop.
The track follows from Laven’s 2019 Spring released album, Leven Kali: Low Tide that features the single ‘Do U Wrong’ featuring Syd (The Internet). The single accumulated over a whopping 20 million global streams! It also slaps, we can confirm.

2019 saw Leven Kali perform at festivals across the country including ‘Outside Lands’, ‘Mad Decent Festival’, ‘BRIC Fest’, and ‘Smokin Grooves Festivals’ as well as performing headlining shows in London, New York, San Fransisco, and Boston. So a pretty busy year, then!
