Mabel Releases A New Song Reminding Us This Time Of Year Isn’t Easy For Everyone!

Honest, raw and powerful. Those were our first thoughts when listening to this undeniably sad, but pure, song ‘Loneliest Time Of Year,’ from Mabel, reminding us to be thankful for what we have. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have company this Christmas, and this song brings that realization home.

The ‘Loneliest Time Of Year’ seems to be a message to those of us who are lucky to have family and friends around them this Christmas to remember others who are not so blessed. This track also gently lets those who may be alone know that they’re not forgotten in their solitude.

This original Christmas song from Mabel is refreshing because it’s different and raw. It is not your typical festive song, but carries a message and delivers it beautifully.

R&B and Gospel influences are evident in the track, paired with Mabel’s long term love of Destiny’s Child song ‘8 Days Of Christmas.’

This has been an incredible year for 23 year old Mabel, who had huge success with ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ and is currently touring with Khalid in Europe!

You may have also seen her on Jimmy Fallon, when she opened for our king, Harry Styles, when she opened his 2018 tour, or be familiar with her collab with the amazing Tiesto for ‘God Is A Dancer.’

2019 has been a fantastic year, but we only foresee 2020 being an even bigger year for her rise!

What do you thing of ‘Loneliest Time Of Year?’ Does it have you feeling thankful? Does it speak to you? Let us know in the comments below or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPop. We LOVE to hear what you have to say!
