As we reach the end of another year, we can feel the excitement rising. No, not for the holidays (though that too) but because it’s tour ticket season! Our faves are coming for our bank accounts’ necks by dropping tour dates left, right, and center. In fact there are so many great tours for 2020 that we’ve got a list of some that are guaranteed to be pretty epic.

Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’ Tour

Following the release of her 7th album earlier this year, Taylor Swift is embarking on her ‘Lover’ tour next year which sees her make stops at various festivals including Madrid’s ‘Mad Cool’ festival on July 8th, and London’s BST Hyde Park on July 11th, as well as her own made ‘Lover’ fests in LA and Massachusetts.

Speaking about the tour on Twitter, Taylor said: “The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER. I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some.”

This tour is promising to be super aesthetically pleasing, much like the album’s era so if you love Taylor Swift and all things pretty, then this is the tour for you!

Who’s louder; 5SOS or you? There’s only one way to find out and that’s by getting tickets to their ‘No Shame’ tour! With their yet-to-be-named fourth studio album dropping early next year, there’s no surprise that a tour will follow shortly behind. We’ve already had a taste of what’s to come from their 2019 singles ‘Easier’ and ‘Teeth’ with the band commenting that the album is set to be “Youngblood’s big sister”. Harry Styles is ending this decade with a bang. He’s dropped three songs, one which included a genius viral marketing campaign and his sophomore album ‘Fine Line’ is the early Christmas present we’re oh so thankful for. With the amount of love and effort put into the ‘Eroda’ malarky, we know that we can expect that same energy during his 2020 tour. So far he’s announced the UK, European, South American and North American legs of the tour with Asia and Australia being announced in 2020.

Joining Harry on tour is Princess King (UK & Europe), Jenny Lewis (US) and Koffee (South America), so you should definitely check out that fine selection of talent to be able to sing your hearts out from the moment the show starts.

There’s no rest when you’re in the world’s biggest girl group! Having just wrapped their ‘LM5: The Tour’, Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie have dropped some dates for their ‘Summer 2020’ tour! The girls are set to perform around stadiums across the UK along with a stop at the famous ‘BST Hyde Park’ in London. If it’s anything like their 2017 ‘Summer Hits’ tour, you can expect the cream of the crop of Little Mix smash hits (though must admit, they’re all pure bangers) and is sure to make it a summer to remember.

No other legs of this tour have been announced but if you were considering a Summer vacay in the UK then this has to be the persuasion point!

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen our favorite Irishman on the road and he’s been so desperate to get back out there to perform, so we know he’s just as excited as we are for the ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ Tour. Niall’s sophomore album is set to drop in early 2020 and will be touring the album throughout the year, starting with North America. Right now that’s the only leg confirmed but worry not as it has been confirmed he will be stopping down under to his Australian friends as well as more legs of the tour plus more US dates are set to be added.

Joining Nialler on the US leg is his BFF and global phenomenon Lewis Capaldi and their good pal, the super talented Fletcher, so you’re truly getting your money’s worth to see such fine talent together in one show.

With her third studio album dropping next month, Halsey is set to head out on the road in 2020, with the first leg of tour confirmed in Europe kicking off in Madrid on February 6th. The Grammy-nominated superstar is always one to put on an incredible show with plenty of variety to showcase her talent in all its glory. We’ve already had a sweet sample of the songs to expect with ‘Nightmare’, ‘Graveyard’, ‘Clementine’ and her two new songs from the album dropping recently, which all promise to be incredible live.

If you’re a rock fan, then the Hella Mega Tour is the one for you! Presented by Harley Davidson, the tour consists of Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer who will be on the road together for an unforgettable night of legendary music.

The tour consists of a total of 46 shows, with 5 legs in 22 countries where all three bands will perform 29 shows, with Green Day and Weezer performing at an additional five and Green Day alone performing at an additional 12. The tour will head to Asia, Europe, and North America and has already had epic openers announced including The Interrupters in North America and Manic Street Preachers in Europe. The website also currently states that more dates are to be added, so stay tuned!

The Jonas Brothers took the world by storm this year after reuniting at the beginning of 2019 before heading out on their ‘Happiness Begins’ tour across the US. Nick, Joe, and Kevin are back on the road again and bringing the tour to the UK and Europe to visit fans across the lake and feed them quality live music that we’ve all been starved of during their split. 

The tour is set over 16 dates and includes performances in both The O2 and Wembley Arena in London, the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and the Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands.

The 1975’s ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’ Tour

The 1975’s new studio album ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’ is set to drop in February of next year so of course, that means there’s a tour! It was recently announced that the tour run – set to start the same month as the album drop – has been pushed back to start later in the year to focus on finishing up the album. Despite the delay and reschedule, we can tell you that getting tickets to see this band on tour is something you should definitely do at least once in your lifetime (which, to tell you the truth, will only make you want to see them again and again).

So far the UK leg has been announced with the European leg rescheduled and a leg for North America expected to drop pretty soon. You can also see them at Laneway Festival in Australia kicking off early next year.

Selena came back to the music scene to end the decade with a bang with her singles ‘Lose You to Love Me‘ and ‘Look at Her Now’. She’s just announced her studio album ‘Rare’, meaning that there’s a very high chance she will tour the album sometimes next year!

BLACKPINK

With their comeback confirmed for 2020, it’d be no surprise to see BLACKPINK back on tour! This year saw them travel the world on their ‘In Your Area’ Tour and even perform on the main stage at Coachella.

Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo really made a name for themselves this year with artists such as Ariana Grande and Little Mix all falling in love with them and hoping to hop on a collab together. We would like to see it.

We can’t wait to see if his writing perspective has shifted now that he’s a married man!

BTS have had another incredible year and it looks like they’re set up for another. Just eight months since dropping their number one album ‘Map Of The Soul: Persona’, rumours are flying about that we could be seeing the Bangtan Boys bake a comeback early next year. Big Hit Entertainment are staying tight-lipped, but honestly, whether it’s in February or not, we’re putting money into our piggy banks now so we are prepared!
