5 Reasons Why … You Should Stan the Jonas Brothers

Not only are Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas legitimately brothers they’re also one of the biggest pop bands on the planet. They started the decade on a massive world tour promoting their fourth album Lines, Vines, and Trying Time … only to part ways in 2013 … only to get back together in 2019! We missed them so much and we’re so glad they’re back. In honor of their reunion here’s 5 reasons why you should stan the Jonas Brothers.

1. They have a song for everything

The Jonas Brothers have been around since 2005, which means they have loads of songs both released and unreleased to listen to and they’re all certified bops. From summer anthems like ‘Burning Up’ and ‘Sucker’ to heartfelt ballads like ‘When You Look Me In The Eyes’ and ‘Hesitate’ the boys have got you covered. Need a dance song? Check out ‘Only Human.’ Need a reminder to take things easy? Listen to ‘Take A Breath’ or ‘A Little Bit Longer.’ What about a country song or maybe a rap inspired song? They even have you covered there with ‘What Did I Do To Your Heart’ and ‘Don’t Charge Me For The Crime.’ Seriously, if you haven’t already go check out their discography on Spotify.

2. They love their fans

Jonas Brother fans have always had a special bond with the boys. In the early days fans would camp out for days braving intense heat and cold just to get a glimpse of the boys and they never went unnoticed. The boys always stopped to talk to fans and take some pictures. Even when the band was on the verge of a break-up and no one knew what was going on, fans still lined up to see their favorite boys before they went on Good Morning America to announce their split.

6 years later and the bond the boys have with their fans is even stronger than ever. The boys admit that they were worried that no one could care that they came back but of course we all still care! And so do the boys who regularly recognize fans who have been around from the beginning and even dedicated a spot on the setlist for a fan request song.

3. They’re a two-time Grammy-nominated band

Yep! You read that right. Kevin, Joe, and Nick were nominated for the first time in 2009 in the ‘best new artist’ category. Unfortunately, they lost to Adele that year but being nominated is an amazing feat alone! Plus, they got to perform on stage with the one-and-only Stevie Wonder. Fast forward 10 years and the Jonas Brothers have done it again! This time they’re nominated for ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ for their comeback single “Sucker.” Make sure you tune in to CBS on January 26th to see if they win.

4. They have hearts of gold

Since the very beginning, the Jonas Brothers have found countless ways to give back. They’ve regularly helped make fans’ wishes come true with the Make A Wish Foundation. They’ve performed twice in the L.A. City of Hope’s annual benefit concert. In 2008 they also created their own charitable organization Change For Children to “motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination, and the will to succeed.”

Nick Jonas is also an ambassador for people with Type 1 Diabetes and helped co-found Beyond Type-1, a non-profit that “aims to educate, and advocate around the disease as well as support the path to a cure.”

We love to see the boys helping out those in need!

5. They put on the best shows!

If you’re still unsure about stanning the Jonas Brothers, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket to one of their shows. You’ll definitely leave a fan!

The Jonas Brothers have always put a lot of attention into making sure their live shows are interactive and fun for everyone. From spraying the crowd with fire extinguishers to make it literally rain on stage during the 2009 world tour, the shows have it all. Though the boys have toned down the drum battles and epic backflips this time around, there are still a lot of iconic moments during the Happiness Begins Tour. Even though the North American tour is over, you can still get tickets to experience the Happiness Begins tour and all its glory when they tour in Europe in 2020.
