Top 7 Ariana Grande Moments Of 2019

Top 7 Ariana Grande Moments Of 2019

2019 was an emotional roller coaster for Ariana Grande and her Arianators. From a world tour to winning a GRAMMY, she did it all! As we roll into a new year, and into a new decade, we take a look back at some of Ari’s best moments of this past year.

We could rave on and on about the pop goddess, but instead, we have created a list to reflect on Ariana’s top 7 moments of 2019.

Courageous Return To Manchester

Arianators around the world know just how emotional this return was for the pop star. She planned a “special show” specifically for Manchester during her Sweetener World Tour. This show took place just two years after the devastating attack that took the lives of 22 innocent victims. It took a lot of bravery and strength to perform at that venue again, but she did it, paying tribute to all the beautiful souls that lost their lives that fateful day.

Winning Her First Grammy

Ariana won her first Grammy in 2019 during the 61st GRAMMY Awards. She won for Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener. We can’t believe that it took the pop star so long to win a GRAMMY, but better late than never. The singer didn’t attend the award ceremony, however, and instead celebrated from the comfort of her bed, snuggling her dog, Myron. We’re sure the pop princess has more awards in her 2020 forecast!

Fourth No.1 Album

Ariana’s 5th studio album Thank U, Next peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it her fourth No.1 album! The album was released on February 8, and featured hit singles ‘7 rings’, ‘Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ and the title track ‘Thank U, Next’. The album also won Ariana a Kid’s Choice Award for Favorite Song and a Teen Choice Award for Choice Pop Song. Talk about a winning year!

Made History with Coachella Performance

The pop princess made history in 2019 for being the youngest artist ever to headline the music festival. She also brought out the Prince of Pop (Justin Bieber) and *NSYNC (minus JT) during her performance, which sent fans into a whirlwind. She was the only female headliner that year standing beside music greats, Childish Gambino and Tame Impala. We are so thankful for getting to be apart of it!

Set A New Record

Ariana may be small in stature, but she is fierce in the music industry. In 2019, she set the record for Most Top 40 Hits at once on the Hot 100 (for a Woman). She had 11 songs inside the Top 40 at one time including ‘7 Rings‘, ‘Thank U, Next’ and ‘Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored‘. Cardi B previously held the record in 2018 having had 9 songs in the Top 40 following the release of her album, Invasion. We do not doubt that Ari is about to slay 2020 just as she did 2019!

Made The Time 100 List

Time magazine released its ‘Time 100’ list of 100 most influential people, and Ariana made the list! Her spot on the list is well deserved, as she is never afraid to stand up for the things she believes in. Ari likes to keep it real with her fans, a trait that isn’t always easy to find among the famous. The popstar’s impact on the music industry, her fans, and everyone around her is evident in all aspects of her life.  We hope she’ll maintain her status in this year’s lineup!

Most Streamed Female Artist of the Decade (Spotify)

Ari finished off the year with #SpotifyWrapped revealing that she was the most streamed female artist of the decade. She was streamed over 15 billion times! If that doesn’t speak volumes about the pop goddess’ impact on fans and the music industry, then we don‘t know what does! Here’s to a new decade, Ari, and, hopefully, a few billion more streams!

Grande finished 2019 with a bang (bang), and 2020 is sure to bring Ariana even more success! Ariana taught us love, patience, and pain this past year, and while we don’t know what the pop star has in store for us in 2020 just yet, we can ‘Imagine’ it’s going to be one of her best years yet!

The pop princess has us believing ‘God Is A Woman‘, her name is Ari, and we’re so good with that!
