The Coachella Festival is something the world looks forward to every year. Even though most of us aren’t lucky enough to get our hands on tickets, the line up announcement has always been eagerly anticipated. This year it’s been made even better because we’re also getting a Coachella documentary.
That’s right. Not only do we get two weekends of Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, full live streams for all six days but also a documentary.

The Documentary Includes Never-Before-Seen Footage
Titled Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert, people have a pretty good idea of what it’s going to be about. It is going to celebrate the 20 festivals Coachella has had since 1999. But what will be interesting is to see who and what is shown from the previous festivals.
Interviews with different artists will be fun to watch, and personally, we’re looking forward to any behind the scenes snippets we will get. In the description it says the documentary will present “exclusive, never-before-seen footage, interviews and features key performances . . . ” So everyone will kind of get something they want, right?
They Just Give Us More and More
Despite not having a festival in 2000, Coachella is an event the music world is excited for every year and they only keep adding things to make us want it even more. In 2012, they announced a second weekend and just last year they introduced live streaming.

The announcement of the Coachella documentary came right after the lineup for this year was released. The blog post included the confirmation of YouTube being the “official playlist and livestream partner” for the festival. But in addition to all that, YouTube and Coachella are partnering to offer exclusive perks to YouTube Premium members for the festival.
The documentary is set to be released on March 31, just a couple of weeks before the festival and is expected to include various artists from BLACKPINK to Rage Against the Machine and Madonna. We can all find someone to fangirl about.
