Adam Lambert has been blessing us with his unique style and catchy music since 2009. It doesn’t take much for the world to realize they got lucky when it comes to Adam!
He recently released new music off of his EP called EP Velvet: Side A. You may recognize his song ‘Closer To You‘, which he performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden. You can listen to the Adam Lambert EP here.
Since then he has taken the center stage on Rollercoaster Magazine’s front cover for the Spring/Summer issue! Not only does he have the front page all to himself (as he deserves), but he also has an incredible album of pictures inside the issue as well.
Adam discusses his journey with Queen, who he will be joining once again for the ‘Rhapsody’ tour. For our UK folks, you can experience Queen live in their massive ten shows at Londons O2 Arena in June of 2020.
Adam also discusses using fellow artists as inspiration, his new music on Velvet, and his fans around the world! here is what he had to say!
“I don’t tend to have a set style, I always like being inspired by something like my dad’s crazy record collection, and remembering the stuff that was played around the house…I started recognizing that some of my favorite contemporary artists that I was listening to, were all referencing the past in a really beautiful way and I was inspired by that.“
Adam Lambert on finding inspiration in the past and fellow artists:
“With Velvet, I really wanted to turn a corner and go somewhere sonically very different than I had been. I kind of wanted to do it on my own terms and not have to compromise with all the creative side of it.”

“What I love is that my fans are connecting to the music and people seem to be liking it – so it’s a win win – but my first priority was having it having it be creatively stimulating and fulfilling.”
