If you’ve stumbled across this article and are asking yourself “well who even is Conan Gray?” Allow us to bless your life (and eardrums).
Conan Gray first started out on YouTube back in 2013, where his content was mostly made up of videos about his life in Georgetown, Texas, along with song covers and originals. By 2017, his channel had accumulated over 25 million views!
That same year, his song ‘Idle Town,’ which reflects on his life in Texas, went viral and gained 12 million YouTube views and 30 million streams on Spotify.
Amid all the success, he took time out from UCLA – where he was studying after moving to Los Angeles – in order to focus on his career. He then released his EP Sunset Season in 2018.
Since then, life has been pretty sweet to Conan, where he toured with Panic! At The Disco, set off on two of his own tours, and surpassed 1 million followers on YouTube. He’s also been announced as one of the artists to perform at Coachella this year, so you know he’s becoming a pretty big deal.
We are SO stoked for this album, and we think 2020 is really going to be Conan’s year!
